Terms of service

1. General provisions

pinned is provided by Rafał Wójciak, a private individual, with a correspondence address at ul. Kościelna 18, 24-173 Markuszów, Poland ("we", "us"). Contact us at hello@heypinned.com.

pinned lets you save pictures and text from the web and arrange them on boards, for your own private reference. Before using pinned, read these Terms and our Privacy Policy; by creating an account, you accept both.

These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live still apply.

2. Your account

You create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account details private and for what happens through your account. Give us accurate information; we are not responsible for the consequences of information that is wrong or incomplete.

3. What you save

You are responsible for having the right to keep a copy of anything you save with pinned. pinned stores a copy of what you save for your own private reference; saving something through pinned does not give you any rights to it beyond that. Do not use pinned to store anything unlawful or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

4. The Free plan

pinned currently offers one plan, Free, at no cost. Free holds up to 300 Pins; Pins in the Bin do not count toward that limit. If we introduce a paid plan later, its terms will be described separately.

5. Deleting Pins and your account

Deleting a Pin sends it to the Bin, where it stays for 7 days before it is permanently removed. You can restore a Pin from the Bin before then. You can delete your account at any time in settings; this cannot be undone.

6. Ending this agreement

This agreement runs for as long as you keep an account. You can end it at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms and do not fix it after we ask you to.

7. Liability

We provide pinned with reasonable care and try to keep it running and fix problems promptly. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or liability for anything we did intentionally.

If you are a consumer, you keep every protection Polish and EU consumer law gives you, including the right to have the service brought into line with these Terms, a price reduction, ending the agreement, and, where it applies, a 14-day right of withdrawal.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms if pinned's features change or if the law requires it. We will publish the new version on this page and, for a change that matters, tell you by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect.

9. Complaints and disputes

If something is not working as it should, write to hello@heypinned.com describing the problem; we will reply within 14 days. If you are a consumer, you can also use out-of-court dispute resolution through your local consumer ombudsman or trade inspectorate. Disputes are otherwise settled by the competent Polish court, unless the law gives you another venue as a consumer.
